It’s during our darkest moments that we desire and yearn for Sunshine.️ There is Hope. This too shall pass.
Life may be different and not ‘normal’ for a while, as many will still live in fear & uncertainty following this pandemic. But...look at it this way, it’s a perfect time for so many of us to be a living witness of Gods greatness in the earth. We’re not a hopeless people. Maybe wounded from the battle, uncomfortable, and uncertain. But never hopeless.
And remember, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”-Isaiah 55:8 KJV
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 KJV
Moreover, the greatest movements and the most historical events happened during times of war and pain, and total dependency on God. And let's not also forget that you also need people. Yep...I know ‘some’ believe (primarily due to past wounds & disappointments) that they can do life alone. But...guess what—you cannot do life alone. Hence, the stress many are feeling right know during this social distance order. We’re just not designed that way. In fact, I think it’s interesting that we’ve been ordered to spend time with our families. Granted, this isn’t the most pleasant situation and it’s not ideal for many people—but it should be an eye opening situation that when it’s all said and done...family and togetherness is an ‘essential’ part of life. It’s a time to reflect and prioritize. And when it’s all over... do not let your new life and/or getting back to the ‘norm’ make you forget and/or disregard what God said & revealed during this time.
Also...if you discovered and/or were forced to face some unpleasant areas of your life...let this be your turning point & “RESET” time—be it in your family, on your job, in your relationships, your attitude, your spiritual life, your perspectives, etc.
In the end...Let’s all rise from this, and increase our light in this dark world.️
Be encouraged y'all! We'll get through this!
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”~Matthew 5:14-16 KJV
