In fact, you can talk, speak truth, try to help folks, and explain your insights until you turn blue in the face. However, the reality is this: people will believe, listen to, and do what they please. That simple. Don't let their limited knowledge, lack of experience/exposure, or crab mindset deter you. Refuse to be hindered by their toxic perspectives and embrace fully who you were created to be. Donโt be closed off and isolatedโbut choose your path wisely/with intentionality. Your success and the fulfillment of your purpose is influenced not only by those you surround yourself with but also by those you choose not to engage or have around.
Small-minded individuals will either flatter or exploit youโor try to drain the very life out of youโ and will naturally distract your attention/ focus. On the other hand, expansive minds/purpose driven individuals can push you, give you โconstructiveโ criticism (it will sting, but youโll be alright ), and will elevate you to achieve your highest potential, live out your God given calling, and be organically you. Why? Because they truly love and care about you.
Consider the tale of the turtle and giraffe . Explaining your viewpoint as a giraffe to a turtle may seem challenging, unless the turtle is open-minded, humble, and mature enough to appreciate your vantage point. While the turtle may not have experienced the world from such heights, respect & mutual understanding is possible. Moral of the story: donโt ever diminish your sight. Instead, eliminate and/or limit your discussions with the turtle.
