Don't let Hurt Harden You...

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫…
Navigating this journey can be challenging because pain has the power to either shape you or break you. Before you assume that my life appears perfect, let me clarify: It is wonderful—but not due to possessions or titles. It's wonderful because each time I encounter shattered moments, God takes those fragments and crafts something exponentially more valuable.
Believe me, I'm well-acquainted with the inclination to stew in situations to retaliate when wronged, especially by those close to us. For those of us who are "fighters," the struggle intensifies because of our inherent urge to stand up for ourselves for others and to call out nonsense.
Nevertheless, when you're authentically walking with God, He profoundly influences how you navigate through pain and adversity. Like many of you, I've faced betrayal from people I once considered "friends," I've been mistreated, used by those I confided in for their own gains, and so on.
But holding onto unforgiveness and bitterness wasn't my path. It truly erodes the future God has ordained for you. Thus, as arduous as it may be, don't allow words or actions to dismantle the God-intended future awaiting you.
God will restore, and he will give you MORE than what you thought you lost (in EVERY aspect of life). Stay encouraged. Extend forgiveness. Move onward. Extend help to others. Treat people with kindness, and God will bless you beyond anything you can imagine. They've received their reward (whatever they deemed paramount). What you possess is priceless—immutable and uncompromisable. You're unique... and God created only ONE YOU.
Don't allow bitterness to harden you; instead, let adversity soften your heart (although forgiveness doesn't always entail restored access and business as usual... but that's a topic for another post ).
Point of this post: “Don’t be bitter…be better.”
