Legacy is NOW...

𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐎𝐖…

I’ve learned to capture EVERY moment; be in the moment; experience the moment; live in the moment; work the moment; learn from the moment; grow from the moment; don’t allow anyone to steal the moment; then move on, yet continuously build from the moment. And remember, legacy isn’t later, legacy is NOW. Meaning what you do NOW determines what later will look like.

𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺: 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵.

One of my favorite writers wrote: “…the thought that legacy arrives at the end of life is as ridiculous as someone who decides to sell a business and tries to increase its valuation the day prior. Legacy is now. Legacy is daily. Every day we create the next page in our lives, but the question becomes who is writing it and what’s being written. Is someone else creating our legacy? Or are we, ourselves, simply writing the same page repeatedly?” —Weiss

So again…the question becomes, what are you building NOW? And granted, it doesn’t have to be “big”…or measured by society/outside standards; you don’t need to have all of the inside decor figured out; but you do need to have some bricks in place. And if the structure isn’t to your liking…you can always remodel, rebuild, etc.—but use the bricks that you have and start building something (in all areas of your life)
