In a 7 year spanโ€ฆ WOW-Women of Worth went from a local group, to a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization. I was nervous, I was scared, but I was determined to make a difference. In fact, I took an even โ€œcrazierโ€ risk by hosting annual faith-based community womenโ€™s conferences; with no real idea of how they would turn out. My first two were a huge undertaking (the first had about 10 people total )โ€”but I did not care, as long as I reached someone. The second conference reached/had about 200 attendeesโ€ฆso I was extremely excited And the next one had a whopping 700+, and so on. So yepโ€ฆI was completely over the moon! And was totally in my vein for that time.

I hosted my final conference in 2018 , (which was another HUGE success) and I then felt compelled to restructure the organization/move on to something different. And some would say, why stop nowโ€ฆthe โ€œcrowdsโ€ are coming!? Butโ€ฆGod really showed me early on that โ€œcrowdsโ€ alone was not the main goal. Impact and transformation was (and having a sustainable plan).

And while I could go into greater details about some of the many things my husband and I transitioned into next, Iโ€™ll get straight to the overall objective of this particular postโ€ฆwhich is: itโ€™s OK to transition. Some things are for a lifetime, while others are for a season. Knowing the differenceโ€”and having the humility and wisdom to do so is key.

All of that to sayโ€ฆwhenever God is trying to stretch your capacity and train you for the future, you must be OPEN and WILLING to SHIFT. Appreciate the pastโ€ฆbut donโ€™t idolize it. Thus, when God says GO, I kindly encourage you to GO.

And when I say he never disappoints, I do mean he NEVER disappoints. He may switch it upโ€”and things may โ€œfeelโ€ shaky at times. But I am living proof that he knows EXACTLY what heโ€™s doing!!

Trust the process.

Blessings!
